University of Huddersfield academic and author, Michael Stewart, invited Comma to curate a day of short story panel sessions and masterclasses in Huddersfield on 5th December. We were delighted to bring Comma authors Michelle Green, David Constantine, Claire Dean and Stuart Evers together to talk about their work, and the work of other short story writers they admire.
One of the day’s highlights was a panel discussion led by Michael, which saw all the Comma authors on stage together discussing the state of the short story in contemporary literature, as well as reflecting on its development throughout history. Michael has painstakingly transcribed the discussion, and put it on his blog, for those who were unable to attend. Thank you, Michael!
